I quite like Flushed Away, and when the opportunity to rewatch it came along I wasn't very hard to convince.

Nice story with good character development, but what makes this one is the voice actors. Especially Ian McKellen, Jean Reno and Kate Winslet.

Above average family movie recommended for any fan of animation.

A unique British/American comedy, _Flushed Away_ is a wacky adventure that’s full of laughs. When a posh, upper class pet mouse from Kensington gets flushed down the toilet, he discovers an underground world in the sewers. Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Bill Nighy, and Jean Reno lead the cast and give fairly good performances. And the character and set designs are rather imaginative, particularly in how the costume, vehicles, and buildings repurpose mundane objects to create the sewer city. But the writing is a little weak, as the characters and story aren’t very engaging. Part of the problem is the overly slapstickish tone, which clashes with the danger and peril in the plot. Yet despite a few bumps, _Flushed Away_ is a fun ride.

Flushed Away is the most underrated animated film of all time and I beg you to watch this fun family film, I watched it as a kid and funny enough I think I like it more now as an adult. Really need to give a shout out to Jean Reno (Le Frog) who had me in stitches.

Simply put, one of my favorite "family" movies ever. I've watched this multiple times and STILL laugh...and usually at the same scenes. The storyline, the slugs, the various one-liners and "pay close attention or you'll miss 'em" jokes throughout, all of it added up to a hilarious movie that was fun not just for the kids but for the grownups as well. After watching Hugh Jackman in all the _X-Men_ movies as the nearly-infallible "Wolverine", it's hilarious to think of him as a bumbling little high-society rat...but he pulls it off beautifully. Definitely one of my favorite "fun" movies ever and definitely worth watching when you just need a laugh!
