I understood why many people want to become a vegan or vegetarian after they watched a documentary. You had better watch one of this kind of documentary which tells you what is happening in this world, especially regarding what you eat. We are so ignorant about that because of strategies of someone.
Anyway, when you buy food, let's keep things as follows (They are from this film) :

Buy foods that are grown locally.
Shop at farmers' markets.
Plant a garden. (Even a small one)

Cook a meal with your family, and eat together.

Everyone has a right to healthy food.
Make sure your farmers' market takes food stamps.
