This movie actually had a very average story, but because of the acting and directing the film was actually a really fun thriller which has a very patchy tone as sometimes it goes for laughs and then all of a sudden it gets really weirdly serious. But it is a good film, but it is flawed with its story and realism.

The four brothers Mark Wahlberg (Bobby Mercer), Tyrese Gibson (Angel Mercer), Andre Benjamin (Jeremiah Mercer) & Gerret Hedlund (Jack Mercer) have such good chemistry as they all make you feel the passion of catching the mothers murders. If you are looking for a good action thriller film then this will be good enough and the acting is actually really good, just don't expect anything too special.

"Lemme catch you on the street without that badge! I'll smack that smirk right off your face, you punk!"

John Singleton's Four Brothers is a film that still holds up. The Four Brothers are well cast in Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, André Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund, we have Terrence Howard as Lt. Green who gives a damn about the brothers, we even have Sofia Vergara as kind of like Gloria but not totally, same temperament. And the story is about getting revenge for their mother being killed.

You just want the brothers to get their revenge. They go deep in the underbelly of Detroit, they play some hockey, they interrupt basketball games, they show no mercy and they all share chemistry with each other.

Four Brothers is a film you can pop in that will entertain you now and not let you down.

Not your typical "crime movie". It is worth watching the whole film. I love the ending.

I think it's one 'cool' movie by John Singleton.
Probably because I'd loved to have a brotherhood like that.
I watch it every year when it's freezing cold outside ^‿^
