[IFFR'22] Bruno Dumont talks about the true and the false, the representation of reality through news that reconstructs it in favor of the show. France, the journalist, is the satirical view of France, the country, the ironic vision of superficiality. There are splendid moments that are grotesque and at the same time totally tragic (the accident), although Dumont ends up being devoured by his own pretensions.

I wasn't able to finish the film. I like French cinema, but here it's a huge waste of time.

Like dumping a vacuum cleaner bag from a carpeted women's toilet and filming it for 2 hours.

There's no top, no middle, no points, just a jumble that doesn't know where it begins or what it ends.

And, you know me, I never criticize an actor by name but, dear God, the only parts we should be giving Benjamin Biolay are in his hair.
