One of the funnier movies of the year
Pretty joyful and entertaining , mostly because of Vince Vaughn , his scenes were hilarious
A bloody good time

It's a fun and entertaining movie with a lot of gore but disconnect your brain first or you might left wondering why the killer gets shot a bunch of times but not only lives, comes back from an ambulance half-way to the hospital and is still able to fight three women like nothing happened.

This movie has a fun, original concept. Freaky Friday meets Jason Voorhees. And Vince Vaughn is an excellent cast due to his willingness to act goofy despite his huge, serial killer stature (he’s like 6’5”!)

Some of the forced exposition felt pointless and drawn out, but overall it’s a great popcorn flick. And the kill scenes are creative and crazy bloody, if that’s your thing.

Don’t go in expecting a great movie — go in expecting a FUN movie.

I’m digging the Freaky Friday slasher vibe, it’s different and felt like watching Jason, Halloween happy death day and much more.. it was very entertaining packed with lots decent action along with gore and some funny acting from vince vaughn, definitely worth your time.

Really enjoyable movie! Love Vince Vaughn, and he's excellent in this weird role.

Not too sure if that last scene was necessary, or at least wish it blended-in better with the end of the movie. Felt like a last minute addition.

Honestly, my only grippe is that the cops were a little trigger happy (firing warning shots all over the damn place).

I enjoyed this - Vaughan is a real hoot as both a teenage girl and a serial killer - but I felt it didn't quite live up to its potential. It was still fun, but it slows down occasionally, and weirdly becomes quite mawkish, which goes against the overall tone of the film. Still worth a watch, for both laughs and mild scares.

Not a whole lot to see here. It's Freaky Friday meets any slasher movie. There are a few laughs and a couple of quality kills but not much more than that.

Stupid idea, bad acting, boring script

Oh, yet another switch bodies movie applied to an overused teen plot. Terrible act, poor story & character development. Watched this only because of Vince Vaughn but I am very disappointed. Didn't expect too much, however, I hoped for at least a better comedy.

It was amusing, the acting from the main two actors was good, but ultimately this movie was missing a lot. This movie needed some backstory to The Butcher. Given the genre of this movie, being a serial killer simply because is not good enough. I needed a reason. Sure, we saw he (she) woke up in a right slum, but what else. Also why did this supposed urban myth that nobody had any evidence of suddenly just go mad? Seemed a bit disjointed.
All that said, it was ok and watchable.

uff, being a spn fan I was excited for this one, (k.newton) but heard about bad reviews, and sadly I agree with them. Great original Story idea but poorly executed, characters felt somehow unnatural and stereotypical, everything’s kinda rushed and doesn’t make sense. Also almost no backstory, idk how to explain it but this movie didn’t feel real/istic , plus definitely lacks in depth. Maybe a mini series would’ve been better, so we could’ve had more backstory of the butcher(and why he barely talks, maybe I missed it but I def expected more newton scenes, and more badass dark jokes would’ve been great.)
but the acting was pretty good, especially playing opposite genders with such different personalities;both did good, not astounding but pretty good [/spoiler]
