Easily one of the best in the series. It's where Jason stops being a scary threat and starts veering into unstoppable badass territory. It's also campy and takes the piss out of the series. Sending up the whole genre a good decade before Scream came along and did it. Jason looks cool, there are some inventive kills and Alice Cooper plays on the soundtrack. This was the height of the series.

As if Jason needed to be even more badass now he comes back as a zombie. A good amount of humor in this makes for a funner movie.

Again. Let's not show any of the actual kills. And none of them are creative.

>Jason belongs in Hell — and I'm gonna see to it that he gets there.

So here we got Jason being revived with a lightning à la Frankenstein and retuning as an indestructible motherfucking zombie from hell.

The film doesn’t take itself serious at least. In this way the can exaggerate and do almost anything they want, it can be at least a little funny.

Some kills are kind of entertaining, but nothing special. I’m not a huge fan of Jason’s look in this one. And he has a utility belt just like Batman.

The characters are just like always, super meh. You just cheer for Jason to kill them and put them out of their misery.

Oh my God, Tommy, you never rest. You had already killed Jason, stop man. Now, what was already pretty hard to do — kill him — becomes the hell on Earth. Congrats on your achievement, you really made it.

The score is really cool, well done.

Overall this movie is decent. It’s entertaining and does not offend you. There have been better ones in the franchise and is very likely that will have worse.

The series takes another strange turn in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. This time Jason Voorhees gets Frankensteined back to life through a bolt of lightning and then heads back to Crystal Lake for some good old fashion murder and mayhem. The writing is terrible (worse than terrible even) and the acting isn't much better. Still, the kills are creative and have some intensity to them. And, Alice Cooper provides a great rock soundtrack that includes the classic theme song "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)." Bringing back Jason is a desperate move and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives shows that the series is a one-trick pony that doesn't know what else to do.

If you are going to watch movies like this with no high expectations, you will probably enjoy it. I really liked how bloody it was and really enjoyed "beautiful" body parts. This is what I like about old horror movies. Of course plot an characters are always the same., not really interesting. It is some kind of slasher cliché but I enjoyed Jason as a character. He is the best.

The maximum this movies can score is an 8... but it has to have blood, sex and nudity... this movie is ok and a good save from the previous one but really nudity is part of Friday the 13th... instead of a 7 I’ll take a extra point off... still fun to watch

Snooze fest. Overrated in my opinion. I gave it a few extra stars because it has Thom Mathews in it, aka my boy from Return of the Living Dead I and II.

After the first two movies, this is probably my favourite of the bunch. I think it does a good job of incorporating comedy without it coming across as cringeworthy or unintentional nor does it make you forget you're actually watching a horror movie.

Plus we're introduced to Jason the undead zombie killing machine.

I wanted to see _Crystal Lake Memories_ but feel like it wouldn't be fun without completing the franchise first. This entry is even better than _The Final Chapter_ which is my fav off the franchise so far. I found myself really appreciating how funny and entertaining this one really is. It's better directed, more humorous, and slightly more self-aware. Jason is back stronger than ever. The menace just increased as he is now even more unstoppable. I liked their decision on having an active and appealing protagonist that keeps you engaged throughout the whole film so that there isn't draggy part in the middle. Overall, this was a solid entry.

"I've seen enough horror movies to know any weirdo wearing a mask is never friendly."

Jason Lives is still my favorite part in the franchise. I like the whole approach, Jason is at his best, the humor, the graveyard scene, the Bondesque intro, the kills, actually having little kids at the camp and the whole campy feeling this film has.

Part VI is always the one I want to watch on Friday the 13th. It is the one that for me, is the most fun.

This is the one I remember the most growing up so it is no coincidence that it is my favorite. Way ahead of its time with its great blend of meta moments, comedy and slasher splatter. Zombie Jason has arrived and he’s awesome

Ole Jason just ain't to bright.. He can never finish that final kill, and more importantly, all he had to do was unscrew the easy link in that massive chain lolol
