Fun and good sequel to the already excellent first film. Worth seeing just for the bowling vampires scene itself!

Roddy McDowel is the best thing about this unnecessary sequel.

I didn’t enjoy this part 2 as much as the original but it wasn’t bad, just not as much fun for me. Kept a similar atmosphere and had fun FX but the pacing was off for me and characters were a mixed bag of hit/miss. Overall it was pretty decent but I’ll stick with the original when I feel like revisiting the franchise.

"Let's talk about blood, Mr. Vincent, it's very precious to me."

Honestly, not a bad sequel. It's an enjoyable horror film with new set pieces with the vampires. Charley (William Ragsdale) and Peter (Roddy McDowall) are once again the highlights.

It's a decent follow-up to the first, even though it's not as good as the first movie.

Found it quite boring, some nice effects and I liked the characters but other than that I can't think of much positive to say.

Not as good as the original, but not horrible either.

Certainly not to the standard of the first--Stephen Geoffreys and Chris Sarandon's absences are felt strongly. But solid performances from Brian Thompson and Jon Gries help. The problem is really Julie Carmen's villainess who just isn't as scary as you would hope for the big bag. I do think they do a nice job using Roddy McDowell this round and it still has a fairly decent fun factor!

Despite the success of the first film, Fright Night Part 2 is a little known underground film in which the fight against vampires continues. In this adventure Charlie Brewster and Peter Vincent are brought together again when a coven of vampires come to town bend of seeking revenge. Unfortunately, this sequel has none of the charm or charisma of the original, and isn’t nearly as clever. Fright Night Part 2 adds very little to the series and is best forgotten.
