Man, that movie hits you like a freight train, multiple times. (I am really sorry for writing that... but it's true!)
But can we PLEASE stop casting 30+ years old actors and actresses as... highschool students? I'd expect that from a The CW show but not from korean movies... :(

Lee Jang-hoon's latest is an impassioned and moving take on the boy's relationships with his father and sister and his guilt feeling for his existence. Credits to sensational performances from Park Jeong-min and Lee Soo-Kyung and a heart-wrenching second half of this film that assures you to pull down a tear or two from your eyes. Miracle as a film offers romance, drama, comedy, and some solid tear-jerking moments which stay with you for a good amount of time.

After Be With You, Lee Jang-hoon gives another emotional rollercoaster which makes you smile and weep while watching. The first half is feel good rom-com and second half is a poignant extension of an unique story. The soothing screenplay, Lee's usual cycling shots and the cinematography displaying the beautiful of Yangwon province is worth your time.

This movie has all the right tones with quirky and joyful moments regarding the life of this young adult and his father who had an ever lasting impact on both lifes. The movie has beautiful pastel and vibrant color pelettes expressing warmth and a youthful premise but not loosing the focused of what this movie is going to take us, which is a serious event that made this whole experience quite memorable and hard shift to a dramatic plot that surges as organic and well phased as it ends.
