Satanic, trashy, nihilistic and violent. ***God Is a Bullet*** has a cast that looks great on paper, it's not so much that the acting is bad (Maika Monroe was good, some of the villains were good, Jamie Foxx was good, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau not so much). What brings the acting down is the dialogue, the delivery and the weird responses... it's not fluid. Not enough character development either and because of that there's no emotions felt. Weird editing. The length truly brought it down though, 2h35 is too freakin long and there's barely any story. A tighter runtime and story would have made this so much better.

What works well are the villains, they're so twisted and entertaining. I wanted more of them, how they operate and more interactions between the members would have been interesting. Some really twisted stuff happening on-screen and off-screen throughout the movie but for what kind of movie this is, I think they could have pushed it even more to really leave an impact. Enjoyed the brutal gory scenes even though there's too much CGI. The snake scene was the best, I was squirming in my seat. A good third act but such a cheesy ending omg...
