I don’t get the bad reviews. Fast and Furious films get better reviews. Yet, they are a lot like this movie. Gone in 60 Seconds even had the “family” bbq ending. That every Fast & Furious film has had since.

_Gone in 60 Seconds_ is a classic action movie that delivers on both high-octane car chases and thrilling heist scenes. As a fan of the genre, I found this film to be a must-watch. One of the highlights of the film is the incredible car chases and stunts. The final chase scene, in particular, is a standout moment that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Cage is a standout in the lead role, bringing his trademark energy and charisma to the role.

That was dreadful. I guess they make these for people that don't know Los Angeles. The geography was all over the map:

Cop: "We have a silver Porsche.Estimated speed: 80 miles per hour. Heading west on Wilshire Boulevard."

Helicopter: "This is Air One. We have a visual of the suspect southbound on Vincent Thomas Bridge."

Never mind that it's 40 miles away.

Techno music, check.
Macho posturing, check.
Stupid dialog, check.

At least Angelina Jolie was hot.

One of my favorite movies, ever. Who cares if it's "over-the-top non-stop action" that's completely unbelievable? It's just fun with a hint of drama mixed in (mainly to give them a reason for stealing all the cars). This is an absolute blast when you just want to disengage your brain and enjoy a lot of fun, fast-car action. This is my 4th or 5th time to watch it, and I'll watch it again and again! Great show!

Although Gone in 60 Seconds is one of Cage's better films in my opinion I felt this film was very slow at starting up. In fact the whole first half of the film fells boring most times. It's not until when the mid marker starts when it starts to pull my intention back into the film as they start stealing the cars. Also some of the acting from some of the cast seemed like a joke at times.

Needed non-stop action. Too much talk, too long a run time.

'Gone in Sixty Seconds' does produce some fun action, but I personally felt an extra notch of thrill was needed with this; especially as it lasts for 118 minutes. Some parts are very ploddy, a shortened run time would've worked wonders.

Nicolas Cage is amusing in this, his character Memphis is actually quite goofy. The cast around him are pretty good, with a whole host of familiar names/faces. Angelina Jolie appears as Sway, with Giovanni Ribisi (Kip) and Vinnie Jones (Sphinx) in there too. Christopher Eccleston, meanwhile, makes for a decent bad guy.

Good fun, could've been far more entertaining though.

Gone in 60 Seconds delivers an intense, high-adrenaline ride that’s full of thrills and excitement. The film follows Memphis Raines, an ex-car thief that must put together a crew to pull off one last job in order to save his younger brother from a crime boss. Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi, Delroy Lindo, and Timothy Olyphant lead an all-star cast that has great chemistry together and gives strong performances. Additionally, the story is well-written and fairly clever in the planning and execution of the heist. Packed with riveting car chases and fun characters, Gone in 60 Seconds is immensely entertaining.

A fun car movie. Fast and the Furious is basically this movie meets Point Break. Since it even has all the “we’re family”, stuff.

This is such a silly film but I love it so much, the premise of the film is super entertaining and though not the most realistic it is really fun to watch. It's the perfect film for mindless action lovers as it has awesome cars, badass moments and Nicolas Cage (Memphis) being Nicolas Cage.

Yeah the laws of physics don't mean anything in this film and the acting can be really cheesy at times, but I love it and I guarantee you will find something fun in this film. Also, it's not a very long film and kinda a perfect film to watch with a bunch of friends and especially if you have a few car lovers amongst them.

If you´re into cars this is a must-see. But even if you´re not you get a good old-school action flic with a good build up and a great finale.

Good remake. A lot of great actors in this movie, but sorry to say that Eleanor makes the movie. I understand Nicolas Cage drove a lot of the chase scenes himself, which is awesome
