It's not a bad movie per sé but it's premise is ridiculous and so are the events unfolding. If you can look past that you will be entertained but you shouldn't praise stupidity, really. John Cusack's advertised invovlement is not only unlucky for the movie but he is also a waste of their budget.

@sp1ti thanks for the review but i rather liked the script and the camera-play onscreen. The story was silly but so was premise, yeah. Easily one of the better thrillers i have recently seen tho, you can do a lot worse than this...atleast it didn't outstay it's welcome

Love this film for no particular reason, just a fun watch! Interesting concept, good music, very intense and with some funny bits.

This movie was captivating initially, but about halfway through became incredibly unbelievable. Approximately 3/4 of the way in, it was so sloppy I wondered if the writers just gave up. Worst of all, the plot didn't make sense. Don't watch this movie if you like having your questions answered at the end.

Did you ever wonder what it would be like if they took the movie Phone Booth and crossed it with Saw directed by a 70's Italian horror director? Whichever the answer is, that's what you're getting...

Unexpected. Not bad, but there is something missing to be a good movie.

Imagine Speed set over the course of two hours in a concert hall. This one was enjoyable to watch but somehow I felt a tad letdown when it was over. It felt like there was a lot more there. follow me at https://IHateBadMovies.com

This movie is definitely a guilty pleasure. It stars elijah wood and was made by the same writer-director of "Whiplash". This movie is kinda dumb and flawed, but it's also alot of fun and I enjoyed watching it. Despite it's cheese, the camera work was pretty well done at times. As someone who has played piano, I could tell Elijah Woods performance was cheated, but it was cheated pretty well. Still, aspects of the plot and the films visual presentation was sometimes questionable.

Overall, I enjoyed watching!

Mi dispiace ma non ci siamo! Film lento, storia inverosimile, trama assurda...... Una delusione mostruosa! E sinceramente se volevo sentire una bella musica da piano sarei andata ad
un concerto del grande maestro Einaudi...

Plot holes, plot holes everywhere. But Elijah's great acting and the good music made this quite entertaining despite it all.

The idea is interesting and intriguing but the movie falls flat on its head when it comes to execution. I could easily poke 300 holes in that storyline, which made it impossible to stop thinking and start enjoying the movie. Elijah does the best he can with the script he is given, but that doesn't salvage the movie at any point. It's a shame, because this could have easily been Phone Booth at the theatre, gripping, enticing, nail-biting, etc...
