**I cannot say enough bad about this steaming turd.** Everything about it was absolutely awful. I hate to see Jamie Lee Curtis' name associated with this; as for everyone else, they deserve to have their name drug through the fetid pile of compost this wanna-be film turned out to be. There is NOTHING good, redeeming, promising, or in any other manner positive about this. It sucked balls and should never have been released. Let the cast & crew enjoy a private screening in the privacy of their own little mini-theaters but why expose this reeking tripe to the rest of humanity? What did anyone ever do to you to deserve this? My god, this was absolutely awful. From the atrocious acting, the entire storyline, the utterly ridiculous manipulation of the previous film in some money-grubbing effort to keep milking this already-bloated-and-stinking carcass of a cow, the dialogue, every single thing about this movie sucked raw sewage. When the opening credits named "Busta Rhymes" and Tyra Banks, I knew it was going to reek, but being the OCD masochist that I am, and this being Halloween 2023, I was determined to watch the final film in the "original" _Halloween_ franchise, after enduring the previous seven films. At 28 minutes, _Halloween: Resurrection_ was already dreadful enough that I wanted to turn it off, but I perservered...much to my own torment. You got the feeling that someone, somewhere gave Busta Rhymes some sort of creative liberty to write his own part of the script; how else could he pull some backwater, hayseed Hong Kong Phooey idiocy on Michael Myers and still live through being stabbed to death in the previous moments? Ai yi yi...yes, ladies and gentlemen, **It. Was. That. Bad.**

I've said that there was absolutely nothing good or positive about this film but I'm going to retract that now; there were, in retrospect, two things that I can say brought redeeming qualities to it: (1) The original _Halloween_ theme music has always been a favorite of mine (it helps that I learned to play it on the piano, and it's still fun to play) and (2) the entire film was only 98 minutes long, and 05:47 of that was opening and closing credits that you don't need to subject yourself to. (Spoiler: There are no post-credit surprises here; I watched all the way through. Don't waste your time.)

How a single movie can both "suck" and "blow chunks" at the same time seems kind of physiologically impossible, but this movie pulls off both. Avoid at all costs.
