At this point I'll watch anything with Iko Uwais. Can't wait for The Raid 3.

@jshwlr I actually worked with Gareth Evans and he showed no interest doing The Raid 3, which scares me a little as I am not sure who they will get to direct it. But I think Timo Tjahjanto would be a good shout after watching The Night Comes for Us.

Good action. I love IKO Uwais, I can't wait for more stuff from him.

*Ouch that's gotta hurt: The Movie*

In comparison to *The Raid* and *The Night Comes for Us*, ***Headshot*** is definitely the weakest but it's still decent. The action choreography is just as great but what the action sequences are lacking is style, memorable set pieces and the camerawork that captures them isn't very good. It does capture the action to the point where we see everything going on but the camera is so shaky it'll give you a headache. At other times it has great camerawork, like the moment where Iko Uwais falls out of a bus. Fairly good use of slow motion also.

It's pretty well known that in this genre the story is always the weakest unfortunately but here... I completely forgot about the story at some point, it really takes a backseat to all the action—which is maybe what people want? The characters are nonexistent, it's as if Iko Uwais or Julie Estelle are portraying the same characters as the ones in *The Night Comes for Us*. All that being said, i'm here for the action and it certainly delivered in that aspect.

Thoroughly entertaining film, with high-intensity, perfectly choreographed action sequences, elevated by great acting performances, but lacking a well-developed plot, that's off-paced at times.

Stupid, unexplained plot. Massacres for the sake of themselves.
Unfortunately there's a lot more Sunny Pang here than in The Night Comes for Us. He's so _very_ terrible in that other movie.

It runs a little too long, but it's got some great fight sequences. The story is kinda unoriginal, but they do a decent job of putting a new spin on it.

They punted on the story but were (expectedly) above par with the action. Well done!

The movie doesn't get into explaining some stuff. Neither does it try to fill empty personalities(like anime style taunting in action scenes) of the villains. But, it can surely satisfy any hand to hand action movie fan
