I haven't watched a Found Footage film in a long, long time so when I heard about Hell House LLC and found out what it was about, I was interested. It's about those populair Haunted Houses and a group of friends setting one up in a old Hotel with history behind it.

We see the documentary about and and like a third in, we really starting to see the found footage and it is done well. Bit by bit you discover more and more. And another good thing is that most of the cast is likeable! We do get your standard talking to the wall, a bit to many of the same scares and a deadly end.

But there are a few really, nerve wrecking scenes done very well! Even if I watched it in the morning. (Too tired last night when I got home from work to watch it in the night). The cast is acting well too for a Found Footage film! And you want to know how the mystery unfolds, so Hell House got that going for it!

I do believe there was more potential left on the table, which is a sad thing but it is very, very enjoyable! And I really, really liked it and soon after seeing it, I recommended it to a few colleagues. Which says a lot right? So if you are looking for a Found Footage film to watch this Halloween season, this is one I can recommend!

I'm not even sure how to "comment" on this. It's not a horror movie; more of a documentary about a horrific tragedy. Someone took something really bizarre, horrible, and unexplained and glamorized it for a Hollywood production. The incredible work done in _Hell House LLC_ is good enough and effective enough that it actually does leave you wondering, _"Is this a documentary about a tragic event? Or is it a Hollywood production made to look like a documentary about a tragic event?"_ Because of the way the film is presented - from the very beginning - I can't consider this one to actually fall under the "horror movie" genre. It does, however, had a definite creepy factor to it, so in that regard it was worth watching. Much like _The Blair Witch Project_ and _REC_ , this one definitely (because it's a 'found footage' movie) has some lighting issues. Okay, they're not "issues"; it's designed to look this way and it's a personal dislike of mine.

**I would definitely caution anyone suffering from epilepsy or other light-induced disorders to use extreme prudence when deciding whether to watch this or not. Because it's based on a "haunted house" attraction, it naturally involves numerous scenes with strobe and/or other pulsing lighting effects. They are common throughout.**

I would stop short of calling this a true "horror movie" but it's definitely a good "scary movie" and worth the 90 minutes it takes to enjoy it from start to finish.

I'm a huge fan of the found footage genre of horror movies. The bad part of this is, there are so few movies I would actually consider good in this growing branch of horror movies. This year I stumbled across this one and I am so glad I did! I love everything about this movie.

It has just the right combinations of creepiness and gore to keep me interested. It doesn't try too hard to impress the audience. It does what movies should do, allow the viewer to go along for the ride while not hitting them over the head with information or trying too hard to scare them. I would recommend this movie to any horror fan. I will be permanently addlying this movie into my top 5 horror movies of all time. Love it!

What would be Halloween without a found-footage scare fest about a haunted house attraction? The setup is creepy with some genuinely good scares as things eventually go horribly wrong.
