It's crazy to read reviews of this at the time that actually praise it and say its way better than the last sequel. No way! This movie is such trash. The acting is......something else. Also I did not like knowing that the guy who plays Pinhead is this little balding British dude. Kinda took away some of the scare out of the character for me. I will give it this: there are a lot of fun practical effects, especially in the last 20 minutes.

what the hell they butchered my boy pinhead. AND JUSTICE FOR THE TEETH CHATTERING CENOBITE. i will miss him :(

only good thing to come out of this movie was the iconic church scene - everything else is boring or inept

So far in my bid to watch the franchise this has been the worst one. That isn't to say the cast didn't do a great job! There are still some excellent moments!

This is some sort of experimental meta-narrative about pushing the boundaries of suffering by crapping out the worst interpretation of Hellraiser possible and smearing it on film. This movie sucks a bag of ugly butts.

Meh. I was watching in good faith but I wasn't impressed. When a horror character becomes bigger than the movie it's not the same movie

What a waste of time. Bad acting and bad story.

Man, Pinhead has got quips; who would have thought the hell priest looked on the funny side? He is not too far from Freddy Krueger's territory of dark wit. I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this one, which I did not expect. I’m guessing this is where the franchise gets silly, right? I mean, this is a guilty pleasure.

Some of the acting is dire, and the movie goes a bit overboard with the campiness, especially with one of the Cenobites whose only lines are puns. Is it just me, or do Pinhead and his gang get deferred very quickly in these movies?

However, I can’t help but laugh at the scene where Pinhead resurrects several of his victims as demonic Cenobites, with one being a DJ, whose design has CD’S planted around his head, and whenever he kills someone, he takes one of the CD out and throws it at someone, killing them instantly.

Entertaining stuff.

This is where the series went downhill for me with the very average plot, acting, and makeup. If they had just focused on character and logic this movie would've looked so different.
