Pretty wild art style with sketchy outlines which gives the film a unique look; starts off typically with the main character being late for school (like Serena/Usagi from _Sailor Moon_ in the first episode/manga), toast in mouth and all, but this time gets into an accident and finds her way to hell (This part reminded me of _The Girl Who Leapt Through Time_ series which the animated version was also from the Madhouse label). She meets some unusual characters down there in the underworld and finds her origin. There's even a talking cat (at least I think it looks like a cat). I burst out laughing a few times 'cause of the dialogue coming out of the headmaster named Helvis (whose design is basically a devil version of Elvis). It's not for children due to a couple of scenes with brief nudity, but there's a good message about love and positivity within though. Also, this reminds me that I need to watch _To Hell And Back_.
