The lil girl was definitely playing a very annoying role... She's mainly in this show for the screaming sound effects (and some other supposedly sweet moments) which clearly didn't play out well. [spoiler] The plot could have been better if they actually show us why rule no. 2 was important. I was more interested in them turning into the infected bunch BUT being able to control it as long as they stay calm. Unfortunately, that part was not presented any more than it should be, which I found it kinda wasted. [/spoiler] Overall, I'd say it's not too bad but had they focus on the correct plot to their story, this movie would've been better than this.

How can I give a good grade to a movie that is good only in the last 15 minutes? I will not reveal anything, I suggest you look at it yourself, and give your own opinion, but I literally slept for the first hour, and that little girl was very irritating and anoying... at least to me. The end of the film is not brilliant, of course, but there is an interesting twist, or few twists actually, but it did not succeed to change my already bad feelings about this movie. 4/10

From the directors of Netflix hit 'Stranger Things.' They clearly have talent and whilst I enjoyed the film I also found it frustrating at times. Unexpected twists kept me interested though so its worth watching. Looking forward to what the brothers Duffer do next.

It was a pretty good movie, but there where definitely some loose ends to the story and plot that leaves you hanging with not answers.

Hidden is one of those little gems that one suddenly finds, with an interesting premise in which both the viewer and the characters have the same information about the mystery, and little by little they discover it. In this case, a family locked up, a mysterious event that forces them into hiding, and some shadowy beings chasing them. What is really going on?
The film invites us to speculate as we enjoy the excellent performances of the lead trio (especially the young Emily Alyn Lind) and the oppressive environment in which they survive. But at a certain point, the more astute viewer will see similarities with works such as I Am Legend and the like, where all is not as it seems.

It's hard to go into detail without spoiling the story, but give it a chance. It's not too long and it's worth it.

This one was just alright for me. I don’t really have any serious complaints, but I couldn’t help but feel like something was missing. Was it slow? Kind of, but I was interested throughout. Was the ending good? Yeah, even if it was a bit strange. This one won’t be for everyone, and that’s fine! If you want a short and compelling sci-fi horror adventure, this might be worth checking out. It just certainly won’t be for everyone.

Mixed feelings. The majority of the movie was very suspenseful. When they got discovered by the 'breathers'' it lost me a bit. When the doll string is caught why do they just look at it? Use your brain. Why even have the string on the doll? Later when running away the girl drops the doll and want to turn around. Forget the stupid doll! Why are the breathers named so? They're human. Are the infected not breathing? How did the virus even start? Why does one parent die from gunshots and the other not? And talk about coincidnce that they find Joey in the end playing Marco Polo.
Despite my annoyances with the end there's still enough good.

Slow and dull, and the end did not make it worthwhile IMO.

So - I just happened to watch both this movie and Archive (2020) the same night with a similar twist at the end. I found this to be a standard "hide from an unknown entity" movie much like the Cloverfield movies - however, the ending was not expected and made the whole thing definitely worth watching.

it's one of the best horror movies i ever saw.

I'm gonna give this film a fair, because it kept me hooked, but it was too short, more should of happened, didn't say much.. story was all over the place.. the ending just didn't make sense, and needed more behind the twists.. rush of a movie that they could of made a lot better..

Interesting and really suspenseful movie. I did not see that twist coming either. Good acting overall too. It's a slow paced movie, so it's not for everyone I guess, but you really get to know the characters this way. It really worked for this movie.

Bit slow at the beginning. Gets better later if you can wait about 90 minutes thru the movie
