The timeline doesn't seem to make a lick of sense. Rachel was alive when Connor killed Kurgan and won the "prize". They don't explain where the new "immortals" even come from. Of course, it doesn't seem like any of the movies really make any sense at this point based on the second movie since they are supposedly aliens. Just really poor written movies and no continuity.

@autbrat well, they had to add the series universe. But you're right, basically nothing makes sense after the first movie.<br /> But the TV Show was really good IMHO.

@autbrat I think the 2nd movie was retconned as non-cannon. And after that the movies pretended like Connor didn't won the prize. Also I read that the logic is that some people are latent immortals (like Connor was, that's why Kurgan tried to kill him before he could mature into a proper-immortal) . But my personal explanation (which is non-cannon) is that Immortals are created when an immortal strikes down a mortal (with a sword preferably) - this prevents them from going on a rampage against mortals as it their victims could gang up and retaliate as newborn immortals + it allows them to create worthy opponents that could offer them a challenge and reward worth their wile (that's why Kurgan in my head wanted slay Connor, so he creates a worthy opponent he could harvest later on).
