A film that initially makes fun of cliches...and then falls right into them! It's not a bad effort though, and this is thanks to Emma Roberts and an occasionally funny script. Its not a film i would go on a second date with but its okay as a one night stand.

This has been much better than I expected. I never thought a 'Shit-your-pants scene' could be so romantic!

Character: "Romcoms are so dumb, the couples don't get together for such _stupid_ reasons." (which for the record is only true of second-rate romcoms)
Movie that the character is in: proceeds to be a second-rate romcom by that exact definition

If you are like me in that you are a sucker for a romcom - especially in the Holiday spirit - then you'll love this one. It is predictable like every romcom is and it's even mentioned in the film. Fun characters, some typical romcom moments and of course
the big speech at the end
A wonderful movie to watch before the holiday season kicks off on a saturday night in.

The Holidate is some rom com film that you will love if you are a hopeless romantic and of course, a fan of Rom Com films. I liked this film so much because it gave me some good laugh. Though there are times where Emma Roberts did not satisfy me with her acting but the chemistry between her and Luke Bracey is definitely there. There are also some cringey moments and characters that does not contribute well to the film. There are also scenes that I don't see as necessary to be included.

But I'm recommending this because this is something that will make you laugh especially when you just want to spend some time watching films. It's a good film to watch with friends too. Not with the fam tho.

Not even alcohol could make this movie better. Don’t watch unless you enjoy clichés, plotless movies, zero romantic chemistry, and casual racism and misogyny.

You better off reading the dictionary of curse words, almost every second word is a curse word. Screenwriter ran out of adjectives because he got bored of his own plot.

Yeah, I usually love wasting my time with awful romcoms but this one was so awful I contemplated quitting 3 times and eventually quit for good halfway through.

Just watched this over Christmas break. It’s a really cute movie! I love Emma Roberts. It’s your typical cliche, holiday rom com but it wasn’t overly embarrassing like some I’ve seen. I recommend if you want a fun holiday movie to put you in the Christmas mood.
