The guy who played Harry came across sooooo sleazy at times. He made me super uncomfortable.
In a way I feel the romantic aspect was wholly unnecesary. Reese's interactions with the other two guys felt so much more natural and heartfelt. That scene where they all went to her room to warn her about her ex was so funny and sweet!
Also, the eldest daughter continuously sounded like she was reading from a script. Which was not very good, considering the high caliber of young actors taking over in movies and TV shows nowadays.
Still, overall it was a nice, chill movie.

I thought, WOW there's no way Reese Witherspoon can play a 40-year-old (at least, she doesn't look it, haha!), but she was amazing. And George was so sweet <3

Nothing extraordinary about this movie. Good cast, some interesting up and coming young actors. I read a review that said this was the best Reese Witherspoon movie yet. I disagree, she has had better parts, but i think she always does a good job. I give it a 6 (fair) out of 10. [Light fare, Romantic Comedy]

Watched on a flight and thought it was a delightful romantic comedy. It leaves things a little up in the air which for some reason really works for this film. Fun and light...a good time, but don't think about it too much.

I didn’t really enjoy this movie. why are all romcoms nowadays so bland and boring? I’m particularly disappointed with Reese Witherspoon, since I really loved her in legally blonde and big little lies. We just have to rewatch and rewatch and rewatch the awesome old romcoms, because it seems that nobody’s capable of making great new ones. Too bad.

It's a light tone movie. I expected it to be like that so I knew what I signed up for. The three young actors did well and it's always nice watching Reese portraying a single mother that is coming out of a failed marriage but ready to start over. I do like the concept of unpredictable encounters that can add up some value to your life or just make you conscious of what you have and be grateful for it.

I didnt like any of the characters and the acting was subpar. How Reese can go from Big Little Lies to this boggles the mind.

This isn't your typical rom-com but in the end I think that was better. It was all a bit odd and all over the same for a romance and it had me seriously wondering where they could possibly go with this that wouldn't be a bad ending. And in the end, the idea of making bonds, creating a "family" without the romance was really the best ending you could possibly have. Any other would have ended in heartbreak somewhere. But they come together without the need for the romance and it seemed more natural that way. And I liked that they included the father in the end, because if they divorce he can still be a great dad and still be a part of the family. So, it ended well, but it was still quite a mess getting there.

It's a stretch calling this a romantic comedy, because it's not remotely funny, and the romance in it isn't well done either. That being what it is, it's also not a good story and despite being easy to watch, you find yourself waiting for it to end. Not a good movie, not remotely.
