A sequel that is quite a step down from the original. It increases Moranis's screen time, but that's all I can say nice about it. It really is a mess and a lot of that blame should go to losing Matt Frewer as the neighbor and most of the kids, and throwing a very adult performance from John Shea in it's place. This tonal displacement and "raising of stakes" doomed the entire proceedings.

Fun sequel that takes a bit of a different route. It's totally a kids movie, and some of the effects are dated, but there's still some pretty impressive effects on display and it's got some cute giant-Monster-movie throwbacks.

This was really pretty bad, and completely ignored the ending of the original movie. At the end of the original, the family sat around a table to a huge Turkey for dinner after they'd increased the size of it through using the machine. In this movie, it starts with how much of a struggle it's been in Wayne's new job, trying to work out the science behind and how to increase the size of things. It makes no sense, and it's just a pile of crap throughout anyway, honestly. It loses every bit of magic the original had.

It's basically just a reverse of the first film, but 'Honey, I Blew Up the Kid' still satisfactorily entertains.

It's not as interesting as the original given that one has loads of funny anomalies, whereas this has just the singular difference of a giant baby. As such, events do drag out towards the end. However, I did find myself enjoying it, albeit on a minor level. There are a few amusing moments, while it does create some interesting shenanigans with the big kid.

Rick Moranis is the only cast member worth talking about, he doesn't give an incredible performance or anything close but remains - just like in the 1989 production - the best part of the film.

I expected it to be terrible, it's actually alright - not one to be taken at all seriously, it's purely childish. I'm sure the younger audience will find enjoyment in it.
