Feel like the material is really too much for a movie, even it's a 2h40 movie. It would be much better suited for a 6 or 8 episodes limited series. Like American Crime Story: Assassination of Versace. But I guess you can't call it American Crime story since it's happened in Italy.
Even it's a long movie, you can feel many places are kinda rushed.
In general, I enjoyed it, the story itself is fascinating, and the cast is amazing. Gaga is on fire, with her many golden lines. My favorite one was when she consoled Paola and asked her staff to get her out of her place right away. :joy: Savage!!! But i'm also quite disappointed the movie didn't include Patrizia's most famous quote "It's better to cry in Rolls Royce than to be happy on a bicycle."

Still trying to understand how they managed to put all this great actors together and make such a horrible movie. Too long and boring, still waiting for something to happen.

I wasn't so much interested in the story itself, it was the names that draw me into it. If one ever needs an example of what over-acting looks like - watch this movie.

Should've stopped after an hour. It's neither a good biopic nor a good crime story. I mean, the source material was there but Scott didn't get anything out of it in my opinion.

The one thing I really like are the looks of the movie. But it feels like getting an empy gift box.

As an Italian I find that it is too stereotyped and some facts are changed since in reality they did not go that way.
If you are going to make a film about a true story, you should be dealing with the truth.

Ignore the comments. This was a pretty good movie that moves fairly quickly and keeps the viewers interest. All performances shined and the touch of humour in the movie helped me like it even more. A great watch

Was a good movie but it was also a bit long. I think it will get nominated for a few Oscar's. The accents didn't bother me that much.

I almost fell asleep in the theater. 45 minutes too long. I love Lady Gaga, but I liked the scenes without her the best. Maybe it was her awful accent? Not sure. Adam Driver was good but couldn’t save it. 3/10.

I don't care what anyone thinks, Gaga did an amazing job at portraying Patrizia. Now, I don't know what was going on with Leto, but considering he has a pretty deserved Oscar under his belt, this role truly was _something else_. His over-the-top accent and mannerisms will haunt me till the day I die.

I can’t exactly pinpoint the thing that ruined the film for me, but I know it's not Gaga. I'm one of those people who always think films shouldn't be over 2 hours, so going into this I would have imagined it to be just a little complex. Turns out it feels like a 6 year old telling a true crime story. It's way too long yet some parts feel rushed. It keeps moving from point to point with no depth. I'm fine with over-the-top acting and purposefully bad accent. The thing is it would've been enjoyable in a film with much shorter runtime, it became insufferable in a lengthy film like this. Also I can't stand Jared Leto. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re a fan of these actors.

Adam Driver and Jeremy Irons were the best parts of this movie. Lady Gaga was all over the place, and Jared Leto was truly awful.

I love Gaga, but hers and other characters looked like overly exaggerated cartoon versions, but taking that away it's very entertaining and visually tremendous.

I didn't like it very mucci.

Watching Adam Driver act is all I need from any film and that Lady Gaga could keep up with him says a lot about her chops.

But...

Jared Leto should've let his makeup do the heavy lifting, because his over-the-top garishness was more distracting than a boar in a toupee.

As for the story, I'm not a fashionista, don't care about haute couture and the suspense here was nothing more than a disorganized crime family saga.

Still, if you like Succession or high fashion, you already have a head start on me. At it is, 8th Grade is still my favorite Gucci movie.

You understand why Ridley Scott says Lady Gaga's accent is fine when you hear Leto speak his first line. Nobody told Pacino this was a comedy and it rocks
