House of Traps is the worst of the Venom Mob films I have seen so far. It takes ages to get going, and the titular House of Traps is not really featured much at all. There's the normal Chang Cheh bullshit at the end, and, and almost per usual for Cheh, the plot is overly convoluted, and the film is devoid of females. Then you have the martial arts...and it's of the usual excellent quality. Anything else would just be weird... Unless you are a Chang Cheh or Venom Mob completist, House of Traps can be skipped. Nothing here you can't get better in other films.
