This movie... Completes the series! It did feel a little anti-climactic, but, you can look past it easily with the ending we receive. I could watch this movie series on repeat and I’ll never get sick of it.

How to train your dragon: The Hidden World is a movie to love that’ll bring tears to your eyes.

Ramp up the silliness. The last two movies just aren't able to reach the height of the first.

Unfortunately I watched the whole movie thinking: "it will get better".
It doesn't.

It is not a bad movie, but it doesn't live up to its predecessors.

This has been a fun movie trilogy and this movie does a great job of wrapping things up in a satisfying way whike maintaining the continuity from the other movies. The novelty of the dragons has worn off but they introduce the new light fury which kind of spices thing up a bit.

An emotional end to a good trilogy. The animation looks amazing. The story is good and very emotional at the end. If you liked the others you should like this.

9.3/10 (discontinuity of voice actors, see below)

A perfect ending to a simultaneously heart breaking and heart warming trilogy. I liked this more than the second film, and only slightly less than the first. I love the moments in this series that have no words, just emotion and body language. This film had many such times, both humorous and lighthearted, but also heart breaking and tear jerking.
The writers did a superb job of making you question if Toothless really only stayed with Hiccup because of the broken tail, and that hurt my heart.
I really felt there were no cop outs in plot, no cheapened dialogue, and even the villain felt original. Voice acting was all around excellent, though TJ Miller missing was noticeable for Tuffnut's somewhat extended role (compared to previous films on-screen time).

The animation was ridiculously stunning, while not losing the trademark look of the villagers and dragons. The sand that toothless draws in, looked so realistic my jaw dropped.

All in all went very quickly, but I'm glad the ended they trilogy properly.

The How To Train Your Dragon Trilogy holds a place in my life that helped define who I am. Suffice to say, having now grown up somewhat I was eagerly anticipating this film, and did not expect it to be as emotionally impactful as it was. There are many criticisms of this movie, many of which are valid, like
it really doesn't make any sense why they would leave all the dragons. Like, no one cared enough to want to keep theirs? Did they forget that their goal was literally to move in to the Hidden world _with_ the dragons?!
. Despite these things, this movie helped me get through a rough time in my life, where I felt my childhood slipping away and being replaced with a dreary emptiness, and this movie helped me to cope with those changes. So while nothing can top the first film, this one definitely deserves a place in my favorite trilogy of all time.

Yea it's a pretty good film but no amount of dragon flames could melt my cold, unmoved heart.
