The premise and general theme was promising but man did it drag at points. I wish it had been more short, concise, and expanded more on the characters' motivations and thoughts

WTF did I just watch!!!! This movie was terrible. I don't want to have any spoiler alerts but this is about getting famous and then deciding that getting rich and famous is not worth it for NO APPARENT REASON. I would skip this movie; it's a complete waste if two hours that you will hate yourself for watching.

If only I would have read this beforehand ... I would've been spared. Awful movie.

Started out strongly convincing and exciting, incredible performance by Chef Paul, to me he was and still is the main character.
Although there were times when scenes started to drag, overall it still felt smooth and the story progression was light.
Definitely worth the watch !

Excellent film about a reflection on social classes and the elite that eating something that is not accessible to most people can give you, it is about domination, specialness and the hunger for power. Without a doubt a film that I would highly recommend.

Agree that the duration at 2h 20mins is too long but the film isn't bad like what most reviews here stated out to be. Honestly as an Asian myself I find Asian values & mindset while watching this film. In fact it relates a lot of how I view my whole life.

A dramatic and some what of a thrilling movie, romanticizing the idea of what it means to be a chef and what does mean to be someone or expect something in a world for more than what it is the real value. While the movie surrounds it's plot exploring that point of view, the message and the meaning is entangled in this humbled girl's life, were her expectations flourish making her realize what she had all the time was there everyday, all along.

One of the most poorly written movies I've seen. Netflix really going out their way to purposely fund the absolute bottom of the barrel at this point.
This is Whiplash for zoomers who scroll TikTok and watch food porn. Nobody involved in this film has testosterone.

Netflix's own version of The Menu. I will say it's not as good, as it's not as interesting for its length. The soundtrack, the cinematography, the characters, and plot were mediocre.
The major problem was keeping me interested.
