A very thorough look at Bruce Lee, the man, the husband, the father, the actor, the martial artist.

It doesn't shy away from his vulnerabilities. And it doesn't shy away from the fact he was a 10-stone fighter so let's stop with the mythology.

The only liberty taken as far as I could see was the addressing of the circumstances of his death. The family rightly don't wish to expose his adultery but they cover it by one of his friends/actors saying it instead.

The rest of it is very accurate and, again, thorough in recounting the key points of his life.

I liked some of the talking heads... The ones who know their business. The ones who didn't I could live without. But there were some interesting and honest opinions that gave an extra dimension.

It really made me wonder what Bruce would have achieved over the years... Would we have seen a yoke Bruce when Stallone and Co ruled the 80s? Or acrobat Bruce when Jackie Chan started Police Storying...? Or serious actor Bruce when the body cannot toil anymore? Or as Kobe said, would we have seen Bruce on Dancing With The Stars owning the cha-cha again?

It's saddening and a relief to not see your idols age and wither. We are robbed of promise and spared the disappointment.

He stays the only mainstream Asian-American A-list leading man in movies and it has been 45 years. There won't be another Bruce but that fact has to change.
