I Am Love, starring Tilda Swinton. She's perfect for the lead in this movie, and she actually learned Russian and Italian for her role, neither of which she spoke before hand. Even the supporting actors did well, even though not many got as much screen time, they were all fantastic.

The director really emphasized on size, which is present in its titles, its scenery, and even its musical composition. The final scene of the film brought me a feeling that I've never actually felt before at a movie, and there's a lot of details to appreciate about this movie.

It is through costume that Guadagnino most clearly asserts the film's largeness. Its aspiration to timelessness. All characters wear elegant but simple clothes, ones that prevent them from being identified with any particular time period. Belonging to one year is small, belonging to all years is large. The film's costumes also display Guadagnino's careful use of color, which frequently underlines connections between characters. Emma has a special relationship with her daughter Betta, and in several scenes, the two wear colors previously worn by the other.

It's expertly crafted, and it's different, so I wouldn't recommend it to everybody, but I sure as hell enjoyed it.
