The ending is everything, and also the after-credits part is brilliant. I don't know if I liked it this much because I'm interested about human eye, it's structure and so.. But in general,I enjoyed it.

So what does the after-credits part mean?

Some sort of gov. cover up?

Was just an ok movie. Watched it a few hours apart since I got bored a bit.

I believe it's simply a way to tell the scientist has an interest in finding if those notable people had a counterpart in today world

A poorly discussion about the confrontations of science and religion, and don't even get me started on the metaphysics stuff.

A good idea, quite wasted with too many impossible scenes (finding a girl in India? out of 1.3 billion people? And she's right there?)

Majestic, the movie has a special flow, quite slow but that increases the beauty and the way that light is treated in open spaces. Mike Cahill will become a filmmaker to follow.

Absolutely the most stupid movie I've ever watched, a complete wast of time.

For a full and emersive experience of the narrative, I recommend this movie to be seen with little to no prior knowledge as possible. The movie is an underated masterpiece.

Reasons Why:
1. The cinematography is one of the best qualities of this picture, from close ups to 360 degree wide angles, the director really flexes his skills with visual story telling

2. The plot will keep you on your feet. Period.

3. The dialogue feels robust and poetic for most of the movie

4. The acting was phenomenal and no one skips a beat, all the while senselessly introducing 3 women that become pivotal to the story

5. The way scenes are put together an cut gives it the feel of a slow burn up until THAT SCENE burns you right on the rear and at that point, the movie becomes

6. The little things, as if everything heard and seen in a every shot, matter

Like a haunting melody where the ghosts in the notes might be real.

A scientist who studies eyes believes he's discovered concrete proof there is no God, until it seems he's proven the contrary.

This mix of romance and metaphysics isn't usually my style, but approaching it from a scientist's point of view gave me a solid base from which to stand and watch the film.
