Also known as I Spit On Your Grave. Thiscfilms is full of horror and gore, so be warned the feint of heart. A traumatic tale of a woman, gang raped and left for dead, her revenge on the culprits leaves nothing to the imagination, and the audience applauding this woman fire exacting her justice.

I recommend watching the remake; the rape is more visceral and the revenge is more drawn-out and violent. And if you're watching a movie in the "rape & revenge" subgenre of horror, those are really the only two things the movie needs to do well.

As a film it's not good. Most of the camera work looks bad. The audio is just atrocious. The characters are barely distinguishable at times.

A movie I really didn't care much for upon my first viewing (circa 2011) but kind of appreciate more today. The thing about this film that I find most difficult to fathom, other than why it was made in the first place, is why it's seen as such an important work. At the end of the film, I didn't have the slightest notion that I had seen anything that informed me or had done me any good whatsoever. I'm all More
