I don't know why this movie rubbed everyone the wrong way, I think it's friggin' hysterical. I'm getting exactly what I want out of both the leads and they both crush it. There are two jokes in this movie that no matter how many times I watch it, I bust out laughing. I'm not going to say what they are because I don't want to spoil them for peeps who haven't seen it but they involve a sock and someone's grandma.

I completely forgot about this movie. I watched it way back when it was released, and there are so many scenes and dialogues from this movie that's imprinted in my memory. I just forgot that my brain imprinted them from this movie. Needless to say, the first 15 minutes or so was deja vu for me. Until it all came back. This movie has aged well. Great chemistry between Eddy Murphy and Owen Wilson. If you like 90's movies like Rush Hour, you will enjoy this.

This movie is one of those movies that doesn't necessarily suck but isn't that enjoyable either. It's pretty goofy, cheesy, and ridiculous. It was clearly meant to be funny; it just didn't resonate that way with me. It was very predictable too. I'm not sure whether they were intended to take a person or two off guard, but the "twists" weren't as such at all. The first thought that crossed my mind with each one before the twist part came along was correct. Very mediocre film as far as enjoyment goes. But it wasn't that bad in more important aspects.

Hadn't seen this since it was released on DVD and... pretty much remember it being as mediocre as it was back then. Normally with these buddy films, you have one character who is off-kilter while the other is more serious, but here you had both off-kilter. Had this been today, would've been a good o More

Annoying watch, probably won't watch again, and can't recommend.
