-I packed it for him.

There are movies that amuse, there are others that terrify, others that are more dismay. Identifying features is one of the movies that hurt. The journey of a mother (masterfully interpreted by Mercedes Hernández) from the center to the north of the country to find her son who disappeared in his attempt to reach the United States. The script and direction by Fernanda Valadez are wonderful, captivating, full of real emotion. Claudia Becerril's cinematography is so careful, almost precious. The absence of dialogue is beautifully combined with the images shown of those beautiful parts of the country plagued by violence and terror. The sound is the only one but I put it: so strange that at times it felt like a voice-over when the characters spoke in front of the camera. It's a very strong movie, full of pain and anguish with a breathtaking ending. More than a movie, this is a cry for help. A cry accompanied by lament from the bowels of the country.
