Great look at the 80's action movie cycle. It was a wonderful love letter to some of my favorite flicks of the 80's and early 90's.

Absolutely riveting and comprehensive look at the action movie genre. I'd give it a 10 if they had managed to get an A-list actor for interview to get the perspective of a legend like Stallone or Schwarzenegger. It uses every minute of its 140 run time to pay tribute to the golden age of action and comes round to today's weak stars with ridiculous cartoon sci-fi. Go watch Scott Adkins. He's the last hope. 9/10

An affectionate look back at the good and the bad from 80s and 90s action cinema. With great clips, actor and filmmaker insights, and oodles of nostalgia, this was a great watch. Welcome to the party pal!

I REALLY REALLY miss the 80's and 90's when this planet was at least sane. This to ME at least was the last time when movies where made for the enjoyment of us... now it's focus groups, AI and CGI to cater for the most bang for buck and then MAYBE story next.
