Four talented alien musicians are kidnapped by a record producer who disguises them as humans. Shep, a space pilot in love with bass player Stella, follows them to Earth. Reprogrammed to forget their real identities and renamed The Crescendolls, the group quickly becomes a huge success playing soulless corporate pop. At a concert, Shep manages to free all the musicians except Stella, and the band sets out to rediscover who they really are -- and to rescue Stella.

What an intriguing way to make a movie, it plays out like an extended music video for the whole Discovery album. There's no dialogue in the whole film, as it isn't necessary as the music and animation does a wonderful job of telling the story. Of course, if you don't enjoy Daft Punk's music, this will become torturous as it's pretty much the only thing that plays throughout the movie.

This is not really a movie, it's more like a giant music clip for the album of the DaftPunk. I don't recommend to watch it as a movie you would be disappointed but more if you want to listen to their album, then you have this as background with the adventures of this alien music group.

No. According to Wikipedia and AniDB.net there is only this movie that was special made for the music of Daft Punk. However the movie was split in 4 parts that aired on MTV and Cartoon Network in 2001. Maybe you saw those and thought it was a tv show.
