@eoghannmacleoid I 100% understand what you mean. I'm not American but I've got this fascination with their past presidents and so I absolutely adored this film. Especially being interested in the backstory of the Camelot references and how she quite strengthened his legacy beyond BELIEF in those weeks after his death. It's like Bobby says, what had they really accomplished? Not much, compared to many great presidents that came before him. Jackie was very calculated in the way that she handled everything and I think this movie truly shows how important it was to her that her husband would be remembered. The Kennedy's were as close as royalties you can get in America and she really established that further by ensuring the Camelot reference got spread like wildfire after his death. That's the way I've interpret everything I've read on the subject, at least. Sorry for ranting on you but I just get so excited about this stuff haha!

@eoghannmacleoid I agree. I'm not american either, so watched it to shine some light on an event I know only the broad strokes of. I found the exchanges between Jackie and the reporter beyond uncomfortable to watch. The cold aloofness was just too much.
