lovely movie that lingers in your mind for days after.

I like when books turns movies, but generally we can expect the lost of some few details, but it's impossible give a low rate to this lovely movie! Good casting, amazing scenario and what can I say? It's a great movie :)

A worthy new version of "Jane Eyre" with marvelous visuals and excellent performances.

Great adaptation. Well-casted. The dialogue and connection between actors is a pleasure, even if you know the plot going in. This won't be for everyone - it's often slow and quiet, to reflect the environment. If you like period romance though, I highly recommend and I will definitely rewatch.

‪This movie is definitely one of my new favorites. Captivating from start to end. Unbelievably well done. I loved how it had some jumps and scares in it as well. It might be hard to believe but I absolutely knew nothing about this character or the book, some twists I saw coming and some I really didn’t. Even the ones I saw coming and thought were very convenient, I still was happy they happened for Jane. She’s such a pure hearted and good person. But something would happen soon after that that breaks your heart and makes you think what was convenient before really doesn’t matter anymore. Both Mia and Michael were incredible, and despite the apparent age gap, I thought they had breathtaking chemistry. As soon as it finished, I played it again. ‬And I'll definitely be reading the book soon.

Couldn't feel the chemistry between them, but lovely movie nevertheless!
