Horny no more Jexi's quote: "This is terrible… fake orgasm! fake orgasm! fake orgasm!"

Better than expected, with the occasional funny moment. It could have been better though, as the obvious script could have been written by an A.I. infused algorithm.

The person who wrote this movies has a very different sense of what good and bad is.

I don't see how anyone read the script and still made the movie. The minute the phone starts talking and being mean it's clear this movie is going to suck. I don't know why I didn't turn it off!

I wanted to see this movie. I thought a movie about a person relating and getting to know their cellphone would be fun. I'm disappointed.

Someone could make a good movie on this concept. Phones are so popular, and a movie about a man and his phone could be good. Just not this movie.

It started off quite amusingly, and then it rapidly just went downhill.
Even if the movie only consisted of the first half, I’m pretty sure I’d never watch it again, but the second half certainly sealed that deal.
Like I said, there are amusing aspects to the movie but it’ll never make its way to my screen again.

It was extremely fun until halfway, it then started to be predictable and a bit boring.

Also: in real life the girl would have instablocked the guy, so creepy

_Jexi_ is basically a long SNL sketch, taken way too far. It’s more like _Her_ but for middle schoolers who giggle anytime they hear the word “penis” and think writing swear words = writing jokes.

Does this movie have:

* An interesting and good script? No. It lacks any cleverness or originality, there’s nothing new and the joke _“hey the phone swears and calls Phil names”_ goes on for the whole movie. _Jexi_ is also very predictable, you’re always a mile ahead of it.

* An understanding of technology or relationships? No. The movie tackles the “humans and technology” thing in the dumbest, most obvious way.

* Entertaining leads with actual chemistry? No. I totally didn’t buy the relationship. Cate somehow fell in love with Phil, even though he was creepy and not charming. I think Adam Devine is good in _Workaholics_ and _The Righteous Gemstones_ but putting him as a lead is just not something that he can really carry.

Painfully unfunny and heavy handed in trying to deliver a message about being on our phones to much.

This is a decent enough comedy film with a good message about how having an addiction to our phones can be quite dangerous. There are some points of the movie that I wasn't too keen on and not all of the jokes made me laugh but it was still good.

Seems like it might be interesting, perhaps even funny at the start. Quickly becomes predictable. I turned it off half way through.

Of course this movie has to have bad reviews and 1/10 but it was funny as hell, i mean crying funny. Yes a lot of profanity, a lot of weird sexy stuff but this is 85 minutes, you don't have enough time to finish a regular size pop-corn and you laugh soooo many times..
So yes i'm not ashamed i enjoy this comedy more than i did with the more "heavy-actors-great-marketing" ones.

Very funny film. If you're on your smartphone throughout the day, it will definitely appeal to your interest. Do a Pt. 2, Bring Jexi back lol

Yes, it’s stupid, but it’s also funny and entertaining for what it is.

I don’t know if the film made it to theaters or not, but Netflix feels like a good home for it.

This is awful. The way its shot caught my attention though. It alternates from standard steady cam to actual scenes where the camera (a phone perchance?) visibly wobbles and jerky zooms in AND out as if they paid a visiting 2nd grader with ADHD to film for them.
