Netflix didn't disappoint again, another nonsense they filmed as always. I haven't seen anything good from Netflix yet. The only thing that was positive about this film was how it was shot. the rest about nothing and I think 4 points are a lot, but for trying to close both eyes, he probably deserves 4/10. Even if 2 hours of watching such nonsense so I would be bored to death!!!

I was excited for this one due to the gorgeous costumes/set design and diversity, but it's also much more than that! The musical numbers were delightful, especially combined with the costuming.

The premise of magic and wonder stands out to me here, because rather than the traditional fantasy that you'd expect it's the beauty of _math_ and engineering (and with a female main character at that). It was really interesting to see, because math is often depicted as "stuffy" and definitely not creative even if advanced math _does_ need a lot of imagination. Truly made me wish I didn't let go of math when I was younger.

You can really tell a lot of love and effort was put into this movie!

There's a nice message at the heart of this movie, but its sometimes lost thanks to the abundance of musical numbers and overall tweeness. Not a Christmas classic then, at least for me. Perhaps my heart is just too hard to thaw.

Entertaining family film, not so Christmas-y as I expected… but the musical numbers were astoundingly good!! By far the best

We need many more black Christmas stories. The way this was shot, the costume design, choreography, the set and animation were all fantastic. However, what let this movie down considerably was the sound! Whoever worked on the sound should not be allowed to do another production on this scale. Given this was a musical too it really ruined the film - the voices when they were singing went very quiet then very loud and the music was very up and down with it. It made it unwatchable at times - a shame!

[Netflix] Lazy Christmas production that has a colorful staging but fails to be anything that it pretends to be. Family film, animated film, musical... The screenplay wants to cover a lot and does not focus on anything. As a musical, the songs are mediocre (only John Debney's brilliant score stands out). Less magical and entertaining than it wants to be. To make matters worse, Buddy 3000 is shamelessly Wall·E.

Had nothing to do with Christmas other than the fact that the main character has to come up with either money or a invention before Christmas. Visually the movie is pretty solid. Story was ok, but weak most of the time. Cast feels a bit forced to me though. 6/10

Thoroughly enjoyable and very sweet.

I had a great time watching 'Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey'. It's very well acted, has a story that's entertaining and features neat special effects. The musical numbers are also good.

Forest Whitaker is excellent as Jeronicus, as is Justin Cornwell in the role of the lead character's younger self. Madalen Mills is impressive as Journey, while Keegan-Michael Key is terrific as Gustafson. Ricky Martin is a smart cast, also, as Don Juan Diego. It is a very competently cast film.

The plot is very good, I felt entertained and touched by it. It has a fair bit of humour, but also sturdiness and heart. That is all helped by the pleasant effects, which look nice throughout. There's also some nice use of stop-motion animation, too.

I highly recommend this.

Great idea, but poor execution. The songs were way too much and none of them was memorable. I really like the costumes and the animation effects, but overall this is a very weak movie.

I really wanted to like this. I love Forrest Whitaker. The sets and costumes are amazing. But everything else was severely lacking. The songs were just not that good, bordering on bad, and dancing doesn't really match the songs. Also, the overall pacing was poor. There grandness isn't there. The magic isn't there. There is no wonder, awe, or any other inspiring feeling. Overall, this is a movie to be skipped.

Honestly the only redeeming thing about the movie is the initial message. It doesn't matter how talented you are, treat people poorly and they will turn on you. Create things you can't control and things can go quite poorly. If Jangle wasn't so wrapped up in himself, he could have avoided much of the tragedy.
