This movie was made for liberals I swear. Bullied or not, he chose to end his life. The end result is on him.

If everyone who was bullied off’d themselves, there’d be a handful of ppl left on this planet.

Isn’t this how the story always goes. Dad can’t accept his son. Son dies. Dad accepts son. (Dad walks across US and becomes famous at sons expense)

***Bullying isn’t going anywhere… make your children strong minded instead. That’s something you actually have some control of***

@mediacenterkodi If you think you were bullied like gay kids are, you are mistaken. There is bullying and there is bullying. Including politics and advocating bullying, just yikes.

@mediacenterkodi
Wow dude, speechless. You cant make your kids minds any way and if you believe you can your more stupid than you sound. People deal with things like bullying in different ways. Even the strongest minds can be broken. Suicide its self takes massive amounts of courage to go through with.
Only a bully would come out with such crap.

"Everybody's against bullying, right? "

That doesn't make the most boring movie in the world good.

Very strange flashback way of telling a story. The way the story is told is confusing.

Maybe the movie is saying the dad had an actual terrible relationship with his son, but made up for it by bonding with him in his imagination?

Maybe the son didn't exist and this a movie about mental illness. That makes more sense to explain why the dad went on a long trip pushing a shopping cart down the highway.

This is well worth a watch - a very sad tale told in a way that both uplifts and depresses in equal measure.

Thankfully, this didn't pull on the heartstrings in a manipulative way. Instead, it told the story of Joe and Jadin in a simple way and earned its status as a heartbreaker without being overly sentimental. A good film although it did seem to jump through certain scenes quite quickly. Despite this, the film is a reminder of tolerance, forgiveness, and the need to seek support when life becomes too much to bear. It resonated with me on a personal level and I'm sure it will resonate with many more.

For months I've been looking for a movie. Something good, and I came across this movie but wished I didn't.
I wouldn't watch this movie if you are grieving a loved one loss to homophobia because the truth of this movie will cause you to relieve.

Unbelievable acting, but I'm thankful I came across it
