@triseult you spell "fite" like this, "fight." I win on the basis of your poor spelling.

Whenever I review one of these, it feels like I’m critiquing both a Mission: Impossible and Fast and Furious film.
The good stuff comes straight out of Mission: Impossible.
It gets right what most action films nowadays don’t get right: the action.
I also quite like its style, cinematography and score.

The bad stuff is more in line with the Fast and Furious
The characters are terribly uninteresting and bland.
The dialogue is so awful, I’m pretty sure you’ll find better lines in ..., well you know where.
The acting, man, don’t even get me started on it. I’ll just say that adding Halle Berry was the last thing this franchise needed (although she did well in her action scenes).

I’ll take something that gets those 3 things right, but also has bad action (e.g. Avengers: Endgame) over a boring B-film like this anyday.
As for the story, I can forgive a lot of its lack of logic because this film isn’t very serious, but it just gets so lame.

4/10

The weakest script, terrible one liners, and some extremely predictable pathways. It's still entertaining as far as action goes because the entire movie other than say 10minutes of "backstory" are filled with it, but that doesn't make it a good movie.

less speaking, less cars, more fighting!
That's called "Action Redefined" which the John Wick franchise has achieved.

The first 2 movies were better, simply because this one lacked any reasonable story. Sure, you don't watch John Wick for the great story, but I expected at least a little. In other words there was no development at all - everybody is at the exact same spot at the end.
There was one scene that was really ugly though and I had to look away because it was too brutal: when his dog licked his face - so disgusting!

If you’re looking to be mindless and suspend all belief and watch action sequence after another after another with no reasonable plot or acting to ground it, then this is the sequel for you. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it. But it needed a twist to make us believe killing all these people would eventually lead to something, instead the movie ended where it started. It all seemed pretty pointless and an opportunity for more sequels to make more money.

John Wick remains possibly the blandest action hero to ever grace the screen, which to be fair is a perfect match for Keanu's perpetual idle expression and flat speech (you know you're terrible when Halle Berry outshines you). But seriously, could you not write some better comebacks for him than "no you won't", "thank you", "yeaaaah"? Most are not even one-liners but one-worders.

Besides that, the movie is yet another succession of choreographed head-popping scenes—featuring mindless assailants to whom it never occurs to camp on some vantage point using a scoped weapon to take out a predictably mobile target—all with barely a hint of plot to tie it all together.
John rebels and gets hunted down by the organization pulling the strings, but then for incoherent reasons involving his dead wife decides to go through a great deal of trouble to make amends, only to inexplicably change his mind again later. That's it. That's the story.
Watchable for the action, but also entirely skippable.

It's more of John Wick. There is some absolutely insane action. There were quite of few times I audibly gasped. The story this time starts fine but it seems like this one is more focused on the action than the world and characters. Still this is an action fan's dream and I can't wait to see more John Wick.

No other movie does action as well as the John Wick movies. It is just non stop bat shit crazy action to the point of exhaustion.
