A lowly pencil pusher working for MI7, Johnny English is suddenly promoted to super spy after Agent One is assassinated and every other agent is blown up at his funeral. Well to be honest i had some laughs during this movie but its a little bit silly I'll give it 7/10 just for Rowan Atkinson

I remember liking this movie a decent amount when it came out. But I was like 14 or something, and my criticism wasn't quite as harsh I guess. Or maybe my humor style has just changed. No big deal though, this doesn't suck. It hits a few pretty solid jokes, but doesn't quite keep them constant throughout the whole film. It kinda feels like a movie that you'd have on in the background while you're doing something around the house.

'Johnny English' is the dead horse of a tired genre. Rowan Atkinson is basically doing a mixture of Mr. Bean and Blackadder.

(450-word review) Rowan Atkinson is, without a doubt, the star here, which is no surprise because that's essentially the whole point of this film: a vehicle for him to show everyone else how comedy's done. Last seen this several years ago, probably when it was released in 2003, and pretty funny thanks to Rowan Atkinson. Not great but makes for a fun watch on a weekend when it's too hot to do anything outside. **3.5/5**
