In the Oregon mountains, a pair of hunters encounter a machete-wielding killer in an abandoned church. Meanwhile, five campers arrive to examine some property one of them has inherited but are warned by the forest ranger not to venture forth. Soon after they set up camp, they begin hearing strange noises, encounter a mysterious singing girl and start disappearing one by one.

I love this movie! I don't know why its not more well known. There is an image of the character at the end that should be on a million posters and t-shirts by now. Not going to be specific so I don't have to do the spoiler thing. Watch the movie! If you like The Burning, The Final Terror, The Outing, etc, then....you've probably seen this one too. If not, please do!!!

I really liked the setting here and it is beautifully shot too! The teenagers are all not annoying, they aren't dumb, just very unlucky. And this final girl is freaking BAD ASS! Yes Connie (Deborah Benson)! You are a winner! The way you kill that dude was freaking fantastic! Anyway, the big "twist" was fun and well played out! And let us not forget about police captain Ed Hocken! I mean Roy McLean (George Kennedy)! Always fun to see him! So yeah, I went into this slasher flick without knowing anything about it and I had loads of fun. The setting is great, the murder caddle is fun and the killers are creepy enough. Though I do wish the murders were a bit more bloody but hey, can't win em' all! This is however a must watch for all horror/slasher fans!

Agreed with the previous commenter. Shocking is a stretch, but its a nice reveal. As for the movie itself, its not bad, it does have its moments of originality. The real question is the ending [spoiler]supposed to mean that she was her long lost twin as well? The way the main girl and the hick daughter look at each other after she sees she killed her,brpther (not to mention the wierd way it happens) always led me to believe maybe they were secretly sisters as well. Might be a stretch[/spoiler]
