This was a nice blast back into the past. Sort of lol. Bring on more movies like these classic style ones. The Justice League cartoon was a great cartoon.

While this was a good movie, it wasn't as good as some of the other justice league movies they've done. The story itself was more about the Green Lantern Jessica than anything. It just didn't quite have the excitement of some of the other movies

I gave this a 7, altho I gave Mortal Engines a 7 so you take that as you will. I mean this movie isn't anything special, but I love DC animated films and that kind of covered some of the lackluster pull that the plot had moving forward. I would probably find anything Kevin Conroy is in hard to dislike, and this movie is def worth a watch.

A blast to the past if you will , get this on blue ray grind up some top notch bud and sit back and watch your favourite superheros fight like they did back when cartoon network had those Sunday morning superhero shows.

Props to the team (and studio) for managing to animate almost everything in 2D. That's a rare thing nowadays. However, the low frame rate, the weird editing and the incredible mediocre (and low) soundtrack kept me from immerse myself into the movie even when the characters were well written (for the most part).

I wasn't quite sure what it was that bugged me about this movie at first. Then I realized that I didn't care. It wasn't so much a dislike of it as I simply didn't care. I didn't care about the characters. I didn't care about the plot. I didn't care about the stakes. I just didn't care.

This probably has to do with there being little to no characterization. The new characters (Jessica Cruz, Starboy, Miss Martian, etc.) are given personality quirks instead of actual characters. Sometimes they get downright annoying. Who are these people? How did Jessica Cruz get her GL ring? Who is Mr. Terrific? Where did Miss Martian come from? All these questions and more...will not be answered and you just have to accept that they appeared out of nowhere.

The plot doesn't get much better. The motivation for the villains? Seems to be little more than twirling their mustaches. The stakes? Unconvincing at best.

All around, this had the potential to introduce new characters in interesting ways, but instead trips over its own feet coming out the door with sloppy, shallow writing.

Poor story plot in my opinion
