The dialog in this one sounded like it was written by a child, and performed as such. The voices in these videos are usually so good, so this was a specific let down for me. The rest of the plot stuff was also just kind of boring. It followed the 'and then' story structure where all the characters just kind of move from place to place, punching things as they move, with no actual direction. (Batman fights Green Lantern, and then they fight Superman, and then they fight demons, and then they fight Darkseid, ect.) And they really padded out the action scenes, they took ages punching Darkseid. I was hoping for more.

I was a bit disappointed with this one. In general, I really like DC's animated movies/shows, but Justice League: War just doesn't have much substance. The plot begins immediately, characters begin coming into play without much introduction or development (I suppose on the assumption we already know who they are, which sometimes works), and the fighting and mayhem commences (and constitutes most of the movie). I found myself somewhat bored midway through, just waiting for the JL to eventually win the day.

The same plot as the live action Justice League movie, with the addition of Shazam and Green Lantern, instead of Aquaman. Done in a way shorter length.

Lookout folks, it's all downhill from here. It's a sad attempt at an origin story. I think anyway... Since none of them knew each other. Think I'll stick with the JL/JLU. Makes a Hella lot more sense than this.

I have no idea why so many people trashed the dialogue of this film because some of it was fantastic and so on point with the comics. The banter between Green Lantern and Batman was absolutely brilliant. The only dialogue which was really off was Diana's; I think they were trying to make her sound out of sync having not been in man's world for that long but it just ended up making her sound really awkward and high and mighty.

Watched this again after its initial release. It's a good retelling of how the "Super 7" initially got together. It does seem like each interpretation of how the League formed is around some alien invasion, I guess that's a thing in the formation of super teams. Anyone up for some shawarma??

If anything, this movie works well as a

baseline for our characters. As a standalone

though...I don't think it works. It's one-dimensional villain, several plot conveniences and dumb character decisions make it a hard watch. Wouldn't recommend.

Not the worst of these animated movies I have seen. It was a weird mix of origin stories, so sometimes it felt like it was trying to summarise a whole lot of backstory, and offered a bit for all fans. Nice to see Cyborg (such an undeveloped character in these movies), a bit of Batman vs Superman, Wonderwoman at her most Amazonian best, Shazam not being a total dork - and most surprisingly Green Lantern not spoiling the whole movie (that's a heck of a superpower he has!).
