After his father is killed in an altercation with drunken thugs, Salah's world is plunged into darkness. Forced into running the family kebab shop alone, Salah struggles to manage the increasingly rowdy night life and when a fight with an angry customer goes fatally wrong, he finds himself with a dead body on his hands. With no faith in the authorities Salah disposes of the body in the one place he knows best… the kebabs.

I think this film as completely put me of kebab meat, but good watch. Dan Pringle, you've got a twisted mind. Finally someone that knows how to shut up them loud drunks. I don't blame the guy. Hero? Villain? Well.. I can tell you that his kebab meat taste better...

The movie is as grim as kebab meat! However, the film isn't awful, despite its unpleasant nature. Not a film I would watch again, but I did find my own sense of morality questioned. Is Salah a villain or a hero? Part of me would go with the latter as he squares up against the drunken Friday night culture and makes a meal of them.
