Shiva, a tribal vagabond lives with his mother in hamlet, stays away from the traditional Daivaradhane and Bhoota Kola legacy due to an unforgettable childhood incident. He is happy loafing around with his friends and doing petty jobs for his landlord. When Forest officer Murali enters the scene, it gives a fresh dimension to the man-vs-nature fight. Can Shiva save the forest from Murali? Or is Murali just a dummy bait cast by bigger fish?

A story that revolves around the Native and the Culture of people from specific tribe. Reminds me of a Tamil Movie Karnan with even more rooted story. Rishab Setty has done an amazing job in both acting and direction. Even though some of the action sequences seem to defy physics, they blend with the story at times. Overall it’s a good watch.

Visually stunning, chilling, and insanely beautiful are the kinds of words that came to my mind while watching Kantara. Rishab Shetty has written, directed, and acted in what is already being referred to as a masterpiece! I just feel blessed that a film like this exists.

Shetru just outdid himself this time. This is what you get when a visionary director who is passionate towards what he does, executes a movie so beautifully. This is world class cinema and what kannada cinema is capable of. Thank you for the entire team for proving that again.
