A group of young people from Jakarta left for Cirebon with different destinations. Arla, Jojo, and Maura want to do research on their final assignment, which is assisted by a documentary filmmaker named Umay. Meanwhile, Ajil and Keanu are horror YouTubers who create content to maintain their existence. Their journey becomes wild and uncontrollable after meeting Ute, an indigo who has a secret agenda.

A serviceable supernatural mockumentary. As far as horror sequels go, this was underwhelming as a whole, though not entirely unredeemable. The first film was released 13 years ago so the usual sequel problem that is struggling to justify its existence is clearly present, but it still provides me with a few chuckles here and there, thanks to the comedy aspect. Horror and comedy are a difficult balancing act and perhaps this film leans way too much towards the comedy. I admit some of the jokes are funny and the performances are convincing, but the thing is Sacred was scary as hell so it's a shame that this sequel shows such a small understanding of what made its predecessor great. The horror aspect of it rarely sells and it deviates from them fairly often.
