Killer Constable is a very atmospheric and moody film. Lots of night and rain shots, coupled with intense and very brutal swordfights, makes for an interesting watch. It even has some horror like qualities, but that is not all that surprising considering it's Kuei Chih-Hung that directed this. I would have liked a more fleshed out story, and there were a few pacing problems, but all-in-all a very decent watch.
