[AtlàntidaFF '22] The fact that Zohra practices her defense with an iron and other housewife objects confirms an essentially sexist point of view in a story that has a feminist wrap. Emancipation through violence confuses a feeling of liberation with a vision that borders on misogyny, and the humorous approach to domestic violence only finds some success in the description of a manipulative male character.

Kung-Fu Zohra is like me singing Bohemian Rhapsody: bad, insulting, and tone deaf.

A woman who's being physically abused by her husband decides to spend the film in kung-fu lessons. It's like Karate Kid except "Karate Battered Wife". No, really. Even the name is lifted directly from the 90s classic.

Why watch this when you could stay at home and cleanse your eyes with bleach?
