>I once took care of another villager's cows. Later, he came over and shot my dog.

>Why?

>He's human. It's his nature.

Like a savings account: you'll get your return on investment and leave a richer person but it's gonna take a while.

They should've called this film 'Great Fucking Movie' because when I saw the actual title I was expecting some art film about a child and butterfly in Turkmenistan and not this subtle but powerful character study of a shitty human.

I was on the edge of my seat for the entire 3-hour 17-minute run time even though nothing was really happening other than every layer of my skin being pulled back and exposing me.

The film is long enough to make the viewer feel they know what it's like to be a primary school teacher stuck in a remote Turkish village and to be a really shitty person.

Beautiful filmmaking.

I have watched every NBC movie and if I have to rewatch the movies this would be the last one. I’m ok with 3 hours movies but this is the longest 3 hours movie I’ve ever seen because scenes are too long. I read that _uncut version_ of this movie was way longer than this but it needs more cut. Could have been a little bit shorter.

It's as bad a movie as the movie Climates. I have nothing to say about its technical parts or cinematography. The movie looks good overall. But the movie has no context. It's a 3 and a half hour movie, but the events don't connect to anything. The harassment issue remained in the open, it just went away. It is not clear why such events occurred. Dialogues were very bad. While some parts of it turn into empty chatter, saying it will be natural, some parts are artificial, as if reading from a book. The character of Samet is the same as the character he played himself in the movie Climates. It is not clear what he wants or does. It is obvious that he likes to take photos, and he also put the photos into the film. My rating is 4/10.
