Fun and gory low budget Irish horror comedy with a bit of family drama. It pokes fun at popular vampire tropes and the comedy is the kind of silly comedy that makes me physically cringe but in a good way. It can get way too cringe at times, but the good amount of vampire slaying makes it an amusing watch. A lot of fun characters and gory sequences. There’s a lot of heart present surprisingly. The practical effects are also great mixed in with the laughable ones. I honestly had full intentions of giving this a higher rating but then it overstayed its welcome a bit. It's certainly an uneven film but overall it's still one of the better horror comedies out there.
